The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), yesterday, advised Federal Government to allow the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, access his personal physicians for medical attention.
Kanu has been attending his court trials from the facility of the Directorate of State Service (DSS) where he had been detained since his arrest.
His counsels had raised the alarm over his deteriorating health, fueling calls by well meaning Nigerians and human rights organisations on Federal Government to allow him access to his physicians.
A statement by the leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, stated that the people of Biafra will never forgive President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government if Kanu dies in DSS detention.
The pro-Biafra group condemned the “insensitivity and carelessness” of Federal Government on the deteriorating health of Kanu.
It reminded Buhari that the hatred for the people of Biafra could never stop actualisation and restoration of Biafra as an independent state from Nigeria.
It said: “MASSOB reminds the people of Biafra that irrespective of persecutions, killings, detentions and maiming of our people by Federal Government, we can never derail or succumb.
“We must remain unshakable, and unstoppable with a renewed determination for Biafra actualisation and restoration.”
