Former President Olusegun Obasanjo with former Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi has visited Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
Obasanjo’s visit is the latest in a series of visits to the country home of Wike by politicians across party lines.
Wike, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been at loggerheads with the main opposition party leadership after the presidential primary that produced Atiku Abubakar as the PDP presidential candidate.
Wike and other aggrieved PDP governors tagged G5 have been calling for the resignation of PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
The 2023 presidential election is slated for February 25, 2023.
