Brighton & Hove Albion rinse Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-nil at the Amex Stadium, this win saves Chelsea from dropping to 13th position.
Brighton completely dominated the match, exploiting loose passes from the visitors which attributed to three braces.
Deniz Undav began the scoring after only six minutes, Pascal Gross double it in the 13th minute, and the number 13 completed his own brace 13 minutes later.
Danny Welbeck also got two in the 39th and 48th minute, and Undav finished the hammering with a chip over the keeper.
Welbeck and Undav were subbed off which posed a threat to completing their hattricks.
This is the first time Brighton score more than four goals in a match in their Premier League history.
The last time they scored as many goals in a match was against Chester 7-1 in the bottom division back in 2000.
Wolves, however, look safe enough from relegation places, nine points adrift of 18th-placed Leicester City.
Roberto di Zerbi’s men are still 8th with 52 points and two games in-hand, their ambition for Europe is in strong friction.
