Since she hit the limelight, after winning the 2019 Big Brother Naija, BBNaija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition, reality TV show, Mercy Eke has always proved to be the girl next door.
Despite the odds, the reality star has continued to soar higher, etching her brand in the sands of time. And for Mercy, there’s no looking back.
The reality star is not just the ‘queen of highlights’, but also, a trailblazer. She’s been described by her teeming fans as ‘a true definition of beauty and charm’, yet the Imo state-born Ex-BBNaija housemate believes that she’s a formidable force of nature. Several things have set her apart from her contemporaries.
Apart from being a fashion icon, Mercy is also a powerful influencer, actress, entrepreneur and a video vixen. She had appeared as a vixen in a couple of music videos of top artists in Nigeria including Davido and Ichaba’s single “Baby Mama” for Rudeboy in his music video “Take It.” She’s always smiling to the bank, having become an ambassador and influencer for various organizations and brands across the country. In 2020, she made her acting debut in the Nollywood film “Fate of Alakada.” She has since starred in other movies such as the 2021 “Bodies of influence”, “Shanty Town,” which debuted on Netflix months back and created by Xavier Ighorodje and Chichi Nworah.
The TV star has also appeared in short comedy skits alongside a few Nigerian comedians and content creators. In 2019, after leaving the BBNaija house, she signed ambassadorial deals with brands like Mr Taxi, a popular Motorbike Taxi Company, Royal hair international, waist-trainer and protein shake company, mapia tea, Royal electronics and Just Furniture, a sanitary brand craft method.
In 2020, Mercy Eke also signed an endorsement deal with “Unique Motors” and is still counting. The TV star has done well for herself in her short stay in the limelight. On the flip side, the TV star has not been found wanting when it comes to flaunting her curvaceous body and skin on social media as every outfit she wears is a killer. It goes to show that Mercy’s place as a queen of highlights and a fashion icon is here to stay.
