Factional National Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Bashir Apapa, yesterday, debunked the news making the rounds that he is a mole within the party.
In a chat with The Guardian in Ibadan, Oyo State, he challenged his critics to back their claim with concrete evidence.
The opposition party has been embroiled in leadership crisis after a court ordered removal of its National Chairman, Julius Abure.
Since then, Apapa, who is the Deputy National Chairman (South), said he is the next person to hold the office in acting capacity, pending Abure’s clearance.
He said: “I am not a mole. I have said it many times. Anyone who claims that I am working for anyone to destroy Labour Party should come out with evidence.
“I am only fighting to entrench justice, instill sanity and uplift constitutionalism. Let Abure do the right thing.”
