The Europe Chapter of Igbobi College Old Boys Association (ICOBA) have paid their respect to Founder of First City Merchant Bank (FCMB), the late Otunba Subomi Balogun.
Balogun, who himself was an old Igbobian, was honoured with a minute’s silence, at the weekend, at the end of the Chapter’s AGM at the St John’s Church Hall in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield, in Birmingham, London.
The Chapter Chairman, Gbenga Segun, who led other old Igbobians in paying their respect to one of their very own, prayed that his soul rest in peace.
Meanwhile, Bolaji, the eldest son of the late FCMB founder, said that his father only took ill this week, contrary to a report that he had been sick a month ago.
