The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, in collaboration with Access Bank Plc, has donated 11 laptops to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The donation aimed to improve operational efficiency within the Nigeria Civil Service.
The foundation said in a statement that the donation aimed to bolster the Enterprise Workspace Management Solutions (E-WMS) Project, which utilised automation to optimise office space allocations within federal secretariat complexes, enhance team collaboration, and improve service delivery.
During the official presentation ceremony, the Director of Programmes, Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, Ms Chioma Njoku, presented the laptops to the OHCSF.
The Permanent Secretary, Special Duties Office, Faruk Yabo, expressed gratitude for the support. He emphasised the importance of private-public sector collaboration in the success of the E-WMS Project and the transformation of the civil service.
According to the statement, the project was part of the foundation’s partnership with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service to support reform initiatives aimed at transforming the public sector.
Other ongoing projects included the implementation of an Enterprise Content Management Solution to automate processes, the development of an e-learning platform for training, and the introduction of a performance management system to boost staff performance.
The Foundation’s partnership with the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, had provided training to over 400 public servants, empowering them to become active change agents in their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
