According to Apelebiri, entrepreneurship can help to reduce crime and social unrest, thereby giving young people a positive outlet for their energy, entrepreneurship can help to keep them off the streets and out of trouble.
He urged the government to do more to support young entrepreneurs, adding that government should provide access to finance, training, and mentorship to young people who want to start their own businesses. He said government must create an enabling environment for entrepreneurship to thrive.
“The government should reduce taxes and regulations, and make it easier for young people to start and grow their businesses, “he insisted.
