Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach, Jose Peseiro has said that although the friendly game against Saudi Arabia will be a tough game, he hopes for a good match for his team.
Both sides will face each other on Friday at the Estadio Municipal in Portugal.
It is the second time the Super Eagles face the Arab nation, after playing a goalless draw in a 2010 friendly.
The three-time Asian champions shocked Argentina 2-1 at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and Peseiro, who coached them between 2000 and 2011 is wary.
“Saudi was the last team to beat Argentina so I expect a hard match and also a good match for our team and we will start on the front foot against them.
“We want to beat Saudi Arabia and Mozambique so as to prepare well for the first two games of the World Cup qualifiers because Nigeria must play the next World Cup,” Peseiro said in his press conference on Thursday.”
