Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in last year’s election, will, tomorrow, address the path forward for Africa at the “Igniting the Voice of Africa” convention in Ghana.
The convention will be held at Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah Independence Square, commencing at 5 p.m.
The “Igniting the Voice of Africa” convention is hosted by the New Africa Foundation as a platform for African leaders to reflect on the continent’s developmental trajectory.
The aim is to set a course for the future.
Aligned with Ghana’s inauguration day, the event seeks not only to assess leadership but also to foster unity among Africans towards a shared vision of progress.
Also speaking alongside Obi are other African leaders. Julius Makema, South Africa; P. Lumumba, Kenya, and Dr. Arikana, Zimbabwe, will also deliver speeches.
They are expected to emphasise effective leadership and the involvement of youth in advancing one of the Foundation’s core objectives — contributing to Africa’s development.
