Muslim faithful across the country have been admonished to emulate the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet Muhammad if they crave to live a meaningful and successful life.
A renowned Islamic scholar and don, Professor Muhammad Sani Umar Rijiyar Lemo made the call at a Ramadan Special Lecture with the theme: “Role Model on Muslim Life” organised by the Bauchi State Islamiyya School Teachers Association, BASISTA, and Ahlul-khairi Corporative Society which held at the Abuhuraira Juma’at Mosque, GRA Bauchi.
The cleric clarified, “The life of beloved prophet Muhammad is exemplary to the believers, hence the need to carefully copy his characters, as it will light up our lives.”
Lemo also used the occasion to call on the Muslims to research the life of Prophet Muhammad’s companions and other good samaritans so that they could successfully run their lives religiously.
During the lecture, the guest speaker outlined some qualities of good people as a case study, and thus urged the need for the faithful to reflect on them as their reference points and modules.
Impressed by the outcome of the lecture, the cleric commended the timely organisation of the lecture.
On his part, also at the event, the Chairman of Bauchi State Islamiyya School Teachers Association, Basista, Mallam Kabiru Shuaibu Ibrahim while and praying for the bountiful rewards of Allah for the gathering expressed his delight over the choice of the topic and the presence of the guest speaker for honoring their invitation
