The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike has again come under attack over his political difference and comments against a former governor of the Rivers State, Dr Peter Odili.
A core loyalist of the Governor of the state, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, who is the Leader of Enforcers of Good Governance, Comrade Kingsley Ogu, stated that Wike lacked the morale standing to speak ill of the former of the state, Odili.
Ogu spoke during the Simplified Movement Thanksgiving on the Supreme Court victory of the governor of the state, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, at Omoku Town, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state.
Ogu expressed strong disapproval to the recent remarks made by Wike against Odili, labeling them as insult.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the Enforcers of Good Governance to stand in solidarity with Sir Dr Peter Odili and the administration of Fubara, emphasizing their dedication to upholding peace and progress in the region.
However, the Deputy Governor of the State, Prof Mrs Ngozi Odu, praised the leadership of Governor Fubara, highlighting his dedication to fulfilling campaign promises and driving development in ONELGA and the state at large.
Odu stressed Governor Fubara’s unwavering focus in ensuring development of the state, noting that Fubara is a man of action who delivers on his word.
She reiterated that Fubara led administration is committed to transforming ONELGA into an industrial hub for development.
She pointed to the ongoing Elele-Omoku Road project as a testament to the government’s dedication to infrastructural development, essential for attracting investment and fostering economic growth in the region.
