American hip-hop legend, 50 Cent, has paid tribute to former United States (US) President and Republican Party candidate in the upcoming election, Donald Trump, after he survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The rapper paid tribute to Trump by having his face added to his ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album cover during his performance in Boston on Monday.
While performing his hit song ‘Many Men (Wish Death),’ 50 Cent displayed the album cover with Trump’s face in the background to the cheers of fans.
New Telegraph reports that two people died after gunshots were fired at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday – with the injured former president rushed off stage by security staff, according to the Associated Press.
The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the “subject involved” in the attempted assassination of Trump.
However, the assassin was neutralised by security operatives..
