The 2024 Bauchi State Polo Tournament wrapped up with a strong emphasis on encouraging and supporting Nigerian youth to participate in annual events, especially those interested in polo.
During the trophy presentation on the final day of the tournament, Bauchi State Polo President, CSP Usman Abdullahi, highlighted the importance of fostering youth involvement in this prestigious sport.
In an exciting final match, MalcoMines of Jos triumphed over their arch-rival, DOKAJI Farms of Bauchi, with a score of 9-7, retaining the Governor’s Trophy.
This year’s tournament drew a significant number of sports stakeholders and polo administrators from across Bauchi State and beyond.
The event attracted a large crowd of spectators and participants from various locations, showcasing the growing popularity of polo in the region.
