The Katsina State Police Command on Thursday arrested at least 50 hoodlums suspected to be responsible for the hijack of the protest in the state which led to violence.
New Tekegraph reports that the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Sadiq, told journalists on Thursday that the state is relatively calm as the protest has been contained.
“No loss of life was recorded, however, 50 suspected miscreants/hoodlums were arrested.
“Investigation is currently ongoing as security arrangement has been reinforced,” Sadiq said.
