Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi, faces a lengthy period on the sidelines after he ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in training with Ligue 1 club OGC Nice.
Nice reported the unfortunate incident on their official website. “Injured during training, Terem Moffi (25 years old) underwent additional tests today.
These confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee,” read part of the official statement. An ACL could keep a player out for as long as eight months.
The 25-year-old Moffi has scored 20 goals in 52 matches for the South of France club.
