French giants, PSG, have turned to Super Eagles striker, Ademola Lookman, as they desperately look to replace departed talismanic captain, Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe joined Real Madrid after seven years at the French capital club and Ligue 1 champions initially Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams, as ideal replacements for Mbappe.
However, the Georgian footballer and the Spain wonderkid, who played a key role in the country’s Euro 2024 triumph, are considered unsellable by their respective clubs.
PSG have therefore turned their attention to Atalanta winger Lookman, who has been a standout performer in Italy and the Europa League.
According to Viola News, PSG have made contact with Lookman’s representatives who have also made it clear to Atalanta that the Super Eagles star is willing to join the French champions.
Lookman caught the attention of all in Europe after he scored an excellent hat-trick in the final of the Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen, inspiring Atalanta to their first continental title.
The former Everton and RB Leipzig star was also one of Nigeria’s most outstanding players as the Super Eagles reached the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in February.
He was, however, far from his best as Atalanta lost their UEFA Super Cup clash against Real Madrid in midweek.
I like this website very much, Its a very nice spot to read and obtain information.
