Ibrahim Milgoma, the former Chairman of the Sokoto State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has passed away.
His death was confirmed in a statement released by the party, which was made available to the press on Wednesday revealed that Milgoma died on Tuesday after battling a protracted illness.
The PDP described his death as a significant loss to the party, noting his contributions to the development of Sokoto State and Nigeria as a whole.
The statement eulogised Milgoma as a distinguished gentleman and a respected leader who played a crucial role in strengthening the party during his tenure.

The party also offered prayers for Milgoma, asking that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, rewards his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus, and grants his family and the state the strength to bear this profound loss.
Milgoma’s leadership was instrumental in guiding the Sokoto State Chapter of the PDP, particularly during the 2019 general election, where the party saw significant success under his leadership.
