The Operation Delta Sanity, has recorded significant sucesses against crude oil theft and destroyed illegal refining sites in the Niger Delta.
The Director of Information ( DINFO), for the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Adams Aliu, said in a release that,” This Nigerian Navy Units (Operation Delta Sanity), has recorded significant successes against crude oil theft and destroyed Illegal Refining Sites in the Niger Delta.”
Some of the successes as DINFO recorded in the release were just a few period of five days that commenced on August 29, 2024, “That seven large Cotonou and two fibre boats operated by heavily armed oil thieves loading crude oil from an illegal loading point around Botokiri axis of Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State were seized.”
