You are one busy actress. Do you find time to rest? How do you unwind after a busy day?
I read books. I rest and recharge in my dark room.
Why in a dark room? I am sure your fans would want to understand what that means?
It simply means that I am an introvert. I love my peace and quietness. That’s exactly what it means. How I unwind is by being away from people.
You are an ambassador to so many brands. What does the job entails actually?
To represent the company as much as possible in the best light. To let people know the services that the company gives. The job is just to represent as much as possible. In that of vision Canada, it’s a brand that is already well established. So, luckily, I don’t have too much work to do than to just enjoy with this family.
Recently, you were unveiled as an ambassador for Vision Canada immigration. Tell about it.
Vision Canada immigration company is one that is fully established in the world. The objective is making sure that your immigration dreams, like as little as your visa, to travel and school, work or enjoy a nice holiday, come true in great stride. They have you covered.
Having this in Nigeria which is one of the biggest countries in Africa, is exciting. I am happy to be their brand ambassador. I like the fact that they Chose Lagos for their first office. A place you can walk in and get your valid documents done. Christian Yuba, who is the CEO is well known, trusted and respected around the world for his work. They have their headquarters in Montreal, Canada. There is an office in Anglophone countries in Africa and now in Nigeria and I know it will benefit us a lot as a people. I am happy to be part of the movement.
Have you ever dreamt of living in abroad, like relocating permanently?
You know the funniest part? When I was much younger, I wanted to school and live in Canada. I was in the university and I wanted to go complete my BSc in the University of Calgary in Canada back then but I couldn’t because I didn’t know who to ask. I didn’t know places to go to. To find myself now as the ambassador of Vision Canada, a company that can help both young and old people, who dream to relocate to Canada to know exactly what to do is part of actualisation the dream I had back then. Whenever we make a young person’s dream of living abroad, Canada come true, it’s a win for me.
Do you still wish to live abroad?
Are you guys chasing me away? I love it here. I love Lagos, I love Nigeria. I wish I could say yes, that I want to relocate but may be in future. Right now, I am comfortable travelling for work, travelling for holidays and coming back.
Was becoming an actress a childhood dream come true?
No! I didn’t dream of becoming an actress. My becoming an actress was just destiny. That is the best part, when destiny says it’s meant to be, it’s always so beautiful.
You have one of the best style moments on Instagram. Tell us about your fashion and style.
I love to look good. I know what fits me and I just wear them. Luckily, we have some of the best designers in Nigeria and it makes it easy to wear what I love.
Are there some other careers you aspire to do in future that is not acting?
I like to say that I am in a flow. I am flowing through life for whatever it comes with. Once upon a time, my biggest dream was to live somewhere else, work and school there but life brought me here. I am not someone who would say I want to do this. All I know is I always prepare myself for whatever opportunities that presents itself to me and I make the best of it.
