Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), has officially sworn in the newly elected Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons for the 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state.
The inauguration ceremony which took place on Monday at the Government House in Ilorin, the state capital marks the beginning of a new chapter in local governance across the state.
During the swearing-in, Governor AbdulRazaq urged the new officials to work inclusively, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with all stakeholders in their respective LGAs.
He reminded the chairpersons and their deputies of their duty to prioritize the welfare of the people, urging them to serve with dedication, transparency, and accountability.
The governor also noted the need for grassroots development, charging the new leaders to implement policies that would improve the quality of life for their constituents and ensure the effective delivery of public services.
