Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker has disclosed the marital bliss in his union, stating that he has no regret for being married.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Vicker expressed the excitement in his marriage in celebration of his 21st wedding anniversary.
“Today is my 21st wedding anniversary. I am grateful to God. Marriage is a bed of thorning roses😁. It has extremely lovely times and really trying moments. In all moments, ‘THE WILL’ is key. Getting married to the ‘right’ person is critical (knowing the person substantially).
“Staying ‘in love’ is paramount (not just ‘loving’ your spouse). And finally for me, it’s ‘the desire’ to want to stay married (in the absence of abuse). The culminated effect of these 3 points may transcend those thorns in the roses,” he wrote.
The movie director acknowledged that there have been challenges along the way, however, the bond between him and his wife has kept the union going.
Vicker also stated that love has been the paramount thing in his marriage.
“Pricky as they may be, however, the internal remedies are sufficient to let you move to the next day and the next and for years. Regardless of the thorns love is STILL a beautiful thing.”
He reiterated that he has enjoyed every moment of being a married man, and asked God for help to sustain the marriage.
“I have no regrets been married and staying married. 😊I pray for Grace to continue this beautiful struggle😁.”
He added: “I am blessed to have my wife Adjoa Van Vicker by my side all these years. I have known her for 30years of life. Happy anniversary to us.”
