Veteran Nollywood actor, Ayobami Olabiyi is dead.
Olabiyi who was a prominent figure in the Yoruba movie industry, reportedly died on Wednesday, October 16, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
New Telegraph gathered that he passed on after battling with an illness that required his admission to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan.
Before his death, Olabiyi was said to have been unable to move or speak.
The chairman of the Oyo State Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bose Akinola announced the sad news in a statement on Wednesday night.
He said: “We announce the death of our TAMPAN National General Secretary, Chief Alhaji Musadshir Ayobami Olabiyi ‘Bobo B.’
“May God give entire TAMPAN members globally and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
