President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday hosted members of the Progressive Governors Forum for a high-level meeting aimed at addressing pressing national issues.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Forum, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, who serves as the Vice Chairman.
The meeting, held at the State House in Abuja, brought together governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC)-controlled states to deliberate on strategies for governance and policy implementation.
The discussions centred on fostering collaboration between the federal and state governments, driving economic growth, and addressing critical challenges such as infrastructure development, security, and poverty alleviation.
The meeting reflects the president’s commitment to working closely with APC governors to fulfil the administration’s agenda and deliver tangible benefits to Nigerians.
Details of the resolutions and next steps are expected to be unveiled subsequently.
