Former England Manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson has tragically passed away at the age of 76 after revealing he had terminal pancreatic cancer.
Eriksson’s family confirmed his death on Monday in a terse statement.
“Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away,” the statement read.
“After a long illness, SGE died during the morning at home surrounded by family.”
At the beginning of 2024, the Swede revealed he only had a year to live “at best”.
During his career, Eriksson managed top European clubs like Benfica, Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Lazio.
