In a significant move to support education and promote environmental sustainability, the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), in partnership with the Omoo Dadaa Foundation, yesterday presented school bags and books to pupils of Ojodu Primary School under the “Back to School” initiative.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku and his Executive team, Managing Director of LASAA, Prince Fatiu Akiolu and the management team as well as Mr Niyi Dada, Founder of Omoo Dadaa Foundation.
The initiative, which involves recycling used flex materials from advertising billboards into durable school bags, highlights the commitment of LASAA and Omoo Dadaa Foundation to both education and environmental sustainability.
The donated school bags, alongside essential books, aim to equip students with the necessary tools to support their learning journey as the new school term begins.
Speaking at the event, Odunmbaku emphasised the importance of community partnerships in fostering educational development, thanking LASAA and Omoo Dadaa Foundation for their thoughtful contributions to the students of Ojodu Primary School.
He expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue to benefit schools across the Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
