Daniel Bwala, the former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign Council, has called on Nigerians to be patient regarding President Bola Tinubu’s anticipated cabinet reshuffle.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Bwala emphasized that the timing of the reshuffle is entirely at the President’s discretion.
Bwala noted that Tinubu is likely making his decisions based on the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assessments that were introduced earlier to evaluate the performance of his ministers.
He highlighted that any minister failing to meet the required standards would be identified through this process, but the ultimate decision rests with the President.
“He will do it when he wants to do it. The good thing is that he must have formed his own opinion based on assessment when they introduced this KPI assessment,” Bwala said.
He further urged Nigerians to trust in the process and remain patient, stressing that the reshuffle could happen at any moment.
Bwala added, “It is the President who is now the overall assessor… I want to urge Nigerians to have patience, the President will do it. It can be tonight, it can be tomorrow, it can be anytime.”
The statement comes amid growing speculation about potential changes in President Tinubu’s cabinet, as the country awaits decisions aimed at improving governance and addressing key national challenges.
