Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has swore in Josiah Kente as Special Adviser on Political Matters in Jalingo.
Also, the Governor swore in 16 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries during the ceremony at the Executive Chamber of Government House.
In his address, Kefas emphasized the need for integrity, professionalism, and dedication in public service.
He further urged the appointees to work diligently for the state’s progress saying, “You are the key drivers of our governance.
He highlighted that their leadership and decisions would directly impact the people of Taraba and align with his administration’s key priorities of good governance, service delivery, teamwork, and professionalism.
“The people of Taraba will feel the effects of your leadership through the decisions you make daily and how you conduct your responsibilities,” Kefas said.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, Josiah Kente, a former Speaker of the Taraba House of Assembly, expressed gratitude to the governor for the opportunity and pledged their commitment to serving with integrity.
Kente promised to align with the governor’s vision of inclusive governance and work towards translating the aspirations of the people into reality.
The newly appointed officials vowed to support the administration’s goal of strengthening democratic institutions and driving growth across the state.
