The 2.8km drain inspected by the governor at Five Junction in Benin City will carry water from Canaan Street off Textile Mill Road, 2nd West, through NTA, Kada House with a discharge point at Eghosa Grammar School.
The Obaseki-led state administration has prioritised infrastructure development as a means to attract investments, create jobs, and improve the standard of living of the people.
Since he took office in 2016, the governor has committed a huge bulk of the state’s resources to develop road infrastructure to enhance access to rural areas, open up new towns and consolidate its urban renewal vision, a statement from the Special Adviser on Media projects, Crusoe Osagie claimed.
