The Chairman /Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa (retd.), has approved the posting of Sumaila Ethan, an Assistant Commander General of Narcotics (ACGN), of the Agency, as the Zonal Commander to Imo zone, consisting of Imo, Abia and Anambra states.
A Deputy Zonal Commander, Imo zone, Dr. Nnanna Nworisa, in a statement, disclosed that the posting was approved by Marwa, as part of the reorganisation of the Agency for more efficiency.
He added that Ethan replaced Apkara Friday Okoro, an ACGN, who was posted to the agency’s Academy in Jos, Plateau State.
He noted that Ethan had served as the Coordinator, Lagos Liaison office of the agency; also, an Assistant Director in the Directorate of Investigation, Abuja; as well as a former Commander, Tincan Port, Lagos.
