The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, has urged President Bola Tinubu to shun tribal, political and religious sentiments in the choice of his cabinet members. Oladeji said there are qualified and outstanding individuals for the President to appoint as cabinet members, irrespective of their religion or ethnicity.
The cleric also admonished those challenging the outcome of the presidential election at the tribunal that the will of God would prevail. He spoke, at the weekend, during a media briefing heralding the yearly CAC Canaanland Mountain of Mercy, Erio-Ekiti 21st edition of Power Explosion with the theme: “How Sweet The Name of Jesus.”
Oladeji, who stated that nothing good comes easy, urged all Nigerians to always spare a minute out of 1,440 minutes of everyday to pray and confess good things about Nigeria. He also expressed confidence that God would lead and guide President Tinubu in appointing right people to work with him for the development of the country.
“If a new thing should happen in this country, it might come in harsh or hard manner. When Moses was leading Israelites out of Egypt, their belief was that he was taking them to the Red Sea where they will all perish.
“Some of them stayed back in Egypt, but those who made up their mind to follow him, thought the end had come.
“A vehicle that will be strong will show its capacity while starting. God himself will lead him to choose. I will also advise him to allow God to lead him and he should not base his appointment on ethnic or tribal sentiments.
“As a minister of God and His prophet, ours is to pray that the owner of this country will place whoever He likes in positions. This country belongs to God. It is the will of God that will come to pass upon Nigeria,” he said.
