Confirming the incident to Vanguard, the MASSOB leader said he had lost somebody too dear to him.
He said the late mother died about two weeks she was discharged from the hospital where she underwent surgery
She was aged 70. Madu was formerly MASSOB Spokesman under its Founder Chief Ralph Uwazurike, before both men parted ways, and Uwazurike founded MASSOB BIM.
Ever since Uwazurike’s exit Uchenna Madu has carried on with the mandate of MASSOB, in synergy with other pro-Biafra movements.
