French giants, Lyon, are desperate to hijack the transfer for Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from other potential suitors. Ndidi has been the subject of intense speculation with top sides across Europe jostling to sign him when the transfer window opens next month.
His contract with Leicester City will end this summer and he is unwilling to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium and according to Foot Mercato, Lyon are interested in signing the midfielder. He has been linked with many clubs including English Premier League outfits, Brighton, Everton and Aston Villa.
Spanish La Liga clubs Sevilla and Real Betis are also admirers of the player, who has been capped 55 times by the Super Eagles. There have also been interests from Turkey with top sides including Bekistas and Fernabahce.
