The Leadership of Tinubu/Shetima Foundation in Adamawa state has called on Nigerians planning for nationwide protest to shelve their plans in the interest of the common man in the country.
The Secretary of the Tinubu/Shitima Foundation, Mr Julius Kadala made the call during a meeting of the organization in Yola on Saturday to want Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu led administration in its move to take the country to desire the promised land.
Julius Kadala called on the people of the North East Zone to redouble their strategies in voting and winning more States for APC as a mark of honouring their son, the Vice President who happened to come from the North East.
The meeting attracted members from all the 21 Local Government Areas of the State who worked day and night for the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the last general election under the banner of the Tinubu/Shetima Foundation.
Speaking at the occasion, Alhaji Mijijuwa Kuguma appealed to the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC), at the national level to come down to Adamawa State aimed at reconciling the warring members who have either resigned or joined other political parties.
According to Kuguma, “If the President and the national chairman of the party fail to come to the aid of the party in the State, then the possibility or magic of winning the 2027 general elections will be a mirage”.
“We want to draw the attention of the national leadership of APC to the decay in the state chapter in Adamawa state since the last 2023 general election” he appealed.
He argued that the party is now in total disarray and wants urgent steps to be taken by President Tinubu if really the party want to make a positive impact in the 2027 general election in the state.
It could be recalled that The All Progressives Congress in Adamawa state has been embroiled in a leadership crisis since the last general election where some party chieftains were accused of anti-party activities that led to the loss of her gubernatorial candidate Aishat Binani.
