In a bid to bring the government closer to the grassroot and strengthen direct communication between the government and citizens, President Bola Tinubu has appointed six Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) on Community Engagement.
These aides have been assigned to each of Nigeria’s six geo-political zones with a mandate to engage directly with the public on the President’s policies and programs.
The newly appointed SSAs and their respective zones are, Moremi Ojudu (South-West),Chioma Nweze (South-East), Gift Johnbull (South-South),Abiodun Essiet for the (North-Central),Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai (North-West), and Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba (North-East).
According to the statement made available to New Telegraph, these aides have been saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring that the President’s initiatives are clearly communicated and understood by the public.
They are also tasked with gathering feedback from citizens to help shape and refine the government’s agenda.
