President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in the new Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Didi Esther Walson-Jack into office.
New Telegraph reports that the swearing-in took place prior to the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday at the State House Abuja.
Recall that President Tinubu approved the appointment of Walson-Jack as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, on August 14, 2024.
Before her appointment, she was the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education.
Also, she was appointed as Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has served in several ministries.
An earlier statement from the presidency had indicated that Walson-Jack would take over from the former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is due to retire on August 13, 2024.
