Belgian Pro League side Racing Genk have confirmed the signing of former Nigeria U-20 international Yira Sor from Slavia Prague, The PUNCH reports.
HBVL, a Danish online media outlet, on Tuesday reported that Prague have accepted a €6.5m offer for the Nigerian youngster, adding that the player had landed in Genk where he was set to undergo medical tests.
Genk however confirmed on their Twitter page on Wednesday that the Nigerian had put pen to paper on a deal until 2027, ending his association with Slavia Prague.
“KRC Genk today signed an agreement with Yira Sor (22) until 2027 and thus takes over from Slavia Prague. We wish our new number 14 good luck at our club,” the club wrote.
