Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has said Nigerians are tired of empty promises by politicians; hence, the need for citizens to vote for his party next month to regain their freedom.
Speaking in Minna, Niger State, yesterday, during his presidential campaign flag-off, Obi reiterated his commitment to moving Nigeria from consumption to production.
Meanwhile, contrary to social media reports, LP has achieved 85 per cent registration of its Polling Unit (PU) agents across the country with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the general elections.
Senior Special Assistant on Media to the National Chairman of the party, Ndi Kato, disclosed this in a statement, yesterday.
According to Kato, the party, with the feat, is ready for the elections.
He, therefore, called on all Nigerians to vote Obi and all other LP candidates in the polls for a better Nigeria.
