Nigeria’s Onyinyechi Mark has given the country its first gold medal in the competition.
New Telegraph reports that Onyinyechi shattered the Paralympic record in the women’s 61kg powerlifting category, lifting an astounding 145kg.
She broke both the Paralympics and world record previously held by compatriot Lucy Ejike.
